La Réserve Resort lies on the Zegemeer lake, opposite the casino of Knokke-Heist. It opened in 1949 and in the 1950s and 1960s was a meeting place for stars such as Frank Sinatra, Édith Piaf and Brigitte Bardot. After a thorough renovation it reopened in 2023.
